Welcome to Iwatobi White Day 2014!

 ♥♥♥  Iwatobi White Day has closed for 2014 but Iwatobi-chan hopes you will enjoy some of the gifts while you're here. And there's always next year! :D  ♥♥♥

Modeled after fandom_stocking, Iwatobi White Day is a low-pressure/low-stress gift-giving event for Free! fandom, centered around Valentine's and White Day. Although the event is hosted on Dreamwidth, a DW account is not required to participate.


 TIMELINE (revised)

• Wishlist Submissions open: January 14, 2014.
• Shoe Lockers open and gift giving begins: February 14, 2014 (Valentine's Day)
  • Shoe Lockers will be posted on a rolling basis as they come in, until wishlist submissions close.
  • Gifts will be screened until the reveal.
• Wishlist Submissions close: February 21, 2014.
• Last day of gift-giving & Reveal: March 14, 2014 (White Day) March 16, 2014 — come celebrate White Day Weekend with us!

This is not a traditional exchange so there are no assignments. Here's an overview of how it works:

RECEIVING GIFTS (Wishlist submissions for 2014 are now closed.)

• Anyone who wants to can submit a wishlist. 
• Everyone who submits a wishlist will get their own "shoe locker": a post with their name in the subject line and their wishlist as the text of the post.
• Nearly all Free!-related wishes are welcome. (More details at the Sign-Up/Wishlist Submission post.)
  • All characters and pairings are most welcome!
  • Wishes and gifts do not have to involve romance. 

GIVING GIFTS (The official gift giving period for 2014 is now closed.)

• Anyone is welcome to give gifts, regardless of whether you've submitted a wishlist yourself.
• Rather than assignments, everyone is encouraged to browse the lockers and create gifts. You might do it for a friend or a crush or someone you admire or even someone you don't know whose wishlist details inspire you.
• Comments to the "shoe locker" posts will be screened until the reveal.
• Shoe Lockers will remain open until the end of the reveal day.
